BLUE HOUSE HOTEL
NOSOTROS EN PRENSA

Frommers
If the Blue House weren't actually painted blue, one would think the name came from the fact that the hotel is practically attached at the hip to the Blue Mosque, a stone's throw away. This hotel is a fine example of modern Turkish elegance, with its tile floors, carpets, stained glass, and understated details. Most of the rooms have stall showers, while suites have Jacuzzis. The rooftop restaurant (and bar) is especially noteworthy, if not for the food, then for the back-door viewing of the sound-and-light displays above the Blue Mosque (summer months only). The entire effect is enchanting, and you couldn't get a better view of the domes if you were standing right on top of them.
